Twice in the month of October????

Yes, yes, yes I know... we are starting to post more frequently... hopefully we can keep this up :)

The girls are doing really well...they are playing really well and fighting more often... it is really cute. Kayla is walking (with assistance) more and more, in fact, there are times that she is only happy if she is pushing the walk toy she has. All she wants to do is walk... once she can walk there are things that will be easier for me and things that will be harder for me. She is also talking more. She has a few words/sounds. When she sees a dog she goes "woof-woof" and will sometimes also say dog-dog. She also says ohoh when she drops something, mama and dada and thank you (although thank you comes at random times).

Emma's vocab is growing and she is repeating so much. She is also starting to say the alphabet. She still loves music. She dances to most songs but her favorite song right now is "the more we get together"... if I never have to hear or sing this song again it will be too soon, however the look on Emma's face makes it worth the 100th time of hearing the song a day.

October already

OCTOBER

Kayla is 10 months old today. She is getting bigger and bigger all the time and is asserting herself in all sorts of ways... most recently she is screeching if she doesn't like something that is happening (ie... mom won't let me chew the cord to the lamp). She has been walking with the push toy walker and loves it... She is as cute as always and loves to be in the mix with Emma.

Emma is asserting herself in other ways... the funniest thing that she is doing is giving herself a time out if she hits Kayla or does something she knows she is not supposed to do she will put herself in the corner and say "time out". The newest thing she does is tell me the rules while breaking them (she loves to stand on the kitchen chair and then say "Emma, sit down"...) Her vocabulary is growing every day and she says some of the cutest things
