Happy 2nd Birthday Emma

Yes, Yesterday was Thanksgiving and Emma's 2nd Birthday. It was truly a day to give thanks. We are so thankful for Emma and the joy that she brings to our family.

We celebrated yesterday but are having a cake today. We have may wonderful people who sent cards/gifts to Emma as well many neighbors who took a few moments out of their Thanksgiving to come say happy birthday to Emma

Hello all...

We hope everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving. We will be headed an hour west to celebrate with Liz's family out there.

Now onto the videos... It has been awhile since a video post so here we go

Mid November

Hello all...

It has been a busy November and we haven't even hit Thanksgiving yet! I am not sure why it has been so busy but it just has... I don't even remember what we have done this month but I do know that we have been busy.

The girls are doing great. Kayla has a bunch of words and is repeating so much. It is amazing how much she understands and can say. She is also exercising her strong will. The other day she was so upset that she threw herself on the floor, rolled across the living room and kitchen yelling no,no,no the entire time... yikes... she is not even 1

Emma is talking up a storm and repeats EVERYTHING that is said. Today she dropped something and said, "oh oh spaghetti-o" except she has a very strange way of saying spaghetti-o. She is putting words together and understands what is asked of her. She is a bit rough with Kayla but we are working on it.

November!!!

Happy Halloween (a day late). The girls had a great time, although neither Emma nor Kayla were too sure of all the strange looking people who were walking around the neighborhood at first. By the end of the night, they were having a great time and were even helping to hand out candy. We get about 300 trick-or-treaters as many people bring their kids in from Chicago.

It was an unusually warm day yesterday so it was great to be outside all night (at least until 7). After passing out candy for 4 hours we had a party with our neighbors and had a great time.
