10, 9, 8, 7...

Well, the hours are ticking down until we leave. 6 hours until our cab picks us up (at 1 am... sounds like fun). I think we are packed... but, we'll find out soon.

Unfortunately, the US lost v. Ghana yesterday... I was hoping to have the opportunity to watch a US World Cup match in a country that cares. But, Liz and I have adopted Spain as our new country to route for, so I hope that works out for us.

This may be the last post until we arrive in Thailand. I believe that the journey will only take somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,980 minutes (apartment to Thai customs), and will result in our setting foot in 4 separate countries. I expect to get somewhere in the neighborhood of 27 minutes of sleep during that time, so I hope I don't become "that American." Thank you Starbucks for infiltrating every airport and city in the world... I'll be relying on you heavily for the next couple days.

You should be leaving Toyko about now - hope the long leg of your journey was smooth and uneventful.

The house is starting to awaken for our Monday work day. Enjoy your adventure.
