Ok... so they got everything all set up, and then the surgeon decided to postpone the surgery a couple days to let Emma's lungs get a bit better. Luckily her duct / murmur hadn't gotten any bigger in the past couple days, so we'll try again on either Thursday afternoon or Friday.

I'm sure everything will go fine with the surgery. I did the 3 day old surgery thing when I was born, so I know where she's coming from. Or maybe my mom does. :)
Hang in there mom and dad, things will all fall into place for you and Emma. You are always in my thoughts and prayers and hope you all have a great holiday.
Emma is starting to look so much bigger, and healthy, too. That's wonderful to see.
It must get nerve-wracking not knowing what to expect one day to the next, I'm sure when the surgery happens it will be a success.

It's a good thing that medical technology has advanced in leaps and bounds over the last 28+ years, because you'd sure hate to have Emma turn out like Jarvy as a result of her surgery! ;-)
Seriously, you three are in my thoughts everyday and I've been gathering up all the goodwill, good karma, and good luck available over here in Germany to send your way. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you while I'm home over Christmas!
