Update

Hello everyone,

Well, a long desired post. Sorry for the delay.

Liz is doing great. She is 34 weeks pregnant today, so we have gone over 10 weeks longer than with Emma. We couldn't be happier. Liz is holding up pretty well... although this being really pregnant thing is new for both of us. But, as I said, she is holding up great.

Work is going well for me. I like my job, the work, and the people I work with. I can't ask for more than that.

Emma is doing great. She is getting bigger and bigger every day. And louder. She still doesn't eat real well, but we have hope. Emma does eat with a spoon / with her hands great... its the whole bottle that she still can't get a grasp of. Amazingly, she can drink liquid out of a straw though. Strange, strange.

Emma still sees a lot of specialists. Her physical therapist is thrilled with her progress, and while her speech therapist would like to see more bottle eating, she is very impressed with Emma. Emma does, however, have a continued problem with reflux which she is now on a different medicine for. Also, after completing a swallow study, they found that Emma aspirates into her lungs when she swallows... so, we are taking some remedial steps for that also. That being said, a g-tube is starting to sound better and better.
