Free Time
Hmm... two babies is a lot of work. Rewarding work, but a lot of work.
We'll start with the newest addition. Kayla is doing great, especially since she is getting on a better schedule... and sleeps a bit more... and has figured out the whole eating thing. She has been growing steadily over the past 6 weeks and is now about 10 pounds (up from 6 pounds 10 oz at birth... hmm... one baby at 6 lbs. 10 oz and the other at 610 grams...)
Kayla has gotten used to the new house and having Emma around all the time. She is getting stronger every day, but her best exercise at this time is still crying and turning her head from side to side.
Emma is doing great. She is almost 20 pounds (19 lbs. 4 oz as of yesterday). She is getting more and more independent... not sure if that is a function of getting older or the fact that she isn't the only baby anymore. Emma loves to crawl around, open drawers, stand up (sometimes on her own now) and crawling up stairs. She is also starting to babble a little bit... some "h's" and ba/ma/pa talk. Its lots of fun and Emma is alway proud of herself for "talking." Oh, and she can whistle (but i don't think she means to do it).
Liz is doing great, having a fun time as a stay at home mom x2. She has good days and bad... the not so good highlighted when neither girl wants to be put down all day long.
